129/130+: heather's

visited my friend, heather, today and enjoyed some of the beauty she has in her yard... i couldn't choose which one i liked best, so i decided to post them all...

Purple Shamrock, Oxalis regnellii

French or Spanish Lavender, Lavandula stoechas

[need to ask what this one is again]

Tall Bearded Iris sp.

Clematis sp.

(she is also the one who gave us the variegated periwinkle that has shown up a time or two.)

These are all so pretty! I like the clematis and shamrock best, I think.

i think the shamrock was my favorite shot, because i liked how the leaves at the top resembled a butterfly.

In my second attempt at a 365 project, I hope to grow even more with my camera (and new lenses!) by capturing native and cultivated plant life throughout the year in the Central VA region.

I am including fungi and other microflora in this project as well, just to keep things interesting. I will also try to include identification and links to more information as much as possible.
